Dave is supposed to call me to go back with him to
the house because I still have stuff of my own to clear out and put into
storage and I have cleaning that has to be done downstairs. (God knows when we’ll be able to do that
though; Kyle has to be moved out completely first.) In the meantime, I have to remove all the
curtains from the windows, remove the big painting in the living room, the
boxes of food on the floor, and sundry items in Dave’s old room and the living
room. Also, Dave has to check the shed
out back for any stuff that is his.
I ended up taking a taxi over to the house, instead
of getting a ride with Dave, and started cleaning the floors and bathroom
upstairs, first sweeping the floors, picking up garbage and other items, and
then washing the floors. Other than a
light re-sweep or re-wash, the bedrooms, den, and bathroom are all done now. Afterwards, I was so hot and tired that all I
wanted to do was to take a shower and relax for the rest of the day.
On Tuesday, when I got back home (to Homewood
Suites), I watched my only DVD movie of the day “Some Kind of Wonderful” twice
in the same day. Tuesday night, I woke
up super early again and watched “Forensic Files” on HLN TV, followed by
“Morning Express (with Robin Meade)” at about 7:00 am. I had problems sleeping because my sinuses
were plugged and I had an ongoing headache because my neck was bothering
me. After breakfast, while waiting for
Dave to call me, I started watching my first DVD movie of the day “The Cutting
Edge: Chasing the Dream”, but I didn’t
get a chance to finish it, so I plan to watch the whole thing again later on.
I met Cora-Lee today around 3:00 pm. She is a maid who works for Homewood
Suites. She came into my room to clean
it and to see if I needed anything. She
and I seem to have a lot in common and we talked for about an hour! She is a really nice person and I’m glad I
met her. I hope that we will see each
other again and maybe keep in touch in the future.
I did not sleep well on Wednesday night because my
neck was sore again, but at least my sinuses weren’t bothering me this time.
